Im Zentrum von Jasmin Bogades Arbeit stehen der Mensch und der ihn umgebende – oder durch ihn gestaltete – Raum.
Eine feine Lichtführung und die Wahl des Mediums spielen dabei eine entscheidende Rolle: Im Wechselspiel aus fragilen Polaroids, feinkörnigem Film und hochauflösenden digitalen Aufnahmen baut sich eine leise Dynamik aus Nähe und Klarheit auf. Die Verbindung zwischen Ort und Zeit entsteht durch das Narrativ aus Bild und Text, wobei Ersteres verdichtet wird und so eine weitere Wahrnehmungsebene entsteht – ein Raum der Reflexion.
Hintergrund ihrer Arbeit sind Studieninhalte der Kommunikationswissenschaft an der Universität Hohenheim und eine Ausbildung zur Fotografin in einem kleinen Atelier für Portraits.

At the centre of Jasmin Bogade's work are people and the space that surrounds them, or is shaped by them.

Subtle handling of light and the choice of medium play a decisive role. In the interplay of fragile Polaroids, fine-grained film and high-resolution digital images, a quiet dynamic of closeness and clarity unfolds. The connection between place and time is created through a narrative of image and text, in which the image is distilled and a further layer of perception emerges: a space for reflection.

Her work draws on her studies in communication science at the University of Hohenheim and her training as a photographer at a small portrait studio.
