Im Zentrum meiner Arbeit steht der Mensch und der ihn umgebende — oder durch ihn gestaltete — Raum.

 

Die von mir erstellten Bildwelten bewegen sich zwischen Dokumentation und Inszenierung. Sie erfassen den unmittelbaren Moment — leicht entrückt, intim und mit fein gesetzter Lichtführung. 

Die Wahl des Mediums spielt dabei eine entscheidende Rolle: im Wechselspiel aus fragilen Polaroids, feinkörnigem Film und hochauflösenden digitalen Aufnahmen baut sich eine leise Dynamik aus Nähe und Klarheit auf. Die Verbindung zwischen Ort und Zeit entsteht durch das Narrativ aus Bild und Text, wobei ersteres verdichtet wird und so eine weitere Wahrnehmungsebene entsteht — ein Ort der Reflexion.

 

Hintergrund meiner Arbeit sind Studieninhalte der Kommunikationswissenschaften an der Universität Hohenheim und eine Ausbildung zur Fotografin in einem kleinen Atelier für Portraits, ergänzt durch die berufliche Erfahrung als Hair- und Make-up Artistin.

 

Mein Stil ist schlicht und wild. Die großen Meister inspirieren mich, wie die fast unscheinbaren Dinge des Alltags. Jede Produktion ist einzigartig und bedarf individuellen Feingefühls in ihrer Vorbereitung und Umsetzung.

At the centre of my work is the human presence and the space that surrounds it — or is shaped by it.

 

The visual words I create move between documentation and staging. They catch fleeting moments — slightly off-centre, intimate, shaped by a deliberate use of light.

The choice of medium is essential. In the interplay between fragile Polaroids, fine-grained film, and high-resolution digital images, a quiet tension emerges between intimacy and precision.

The relationship between place and time forms the narrative thread that runs through image and text. The visual element is distilled, opening another layer of perception — a space in which reflection can unfold.

 

My work is grounded in studies in communication science at the University of Hohenheim and an apprenticeship to qualify as a photographer in a small portrait studio, with additional professional experience as a hair and make-up artist.

 

My style is simple, yet wild. I take my inspiration from the great masters, but also from the almost inconspicuous things in everyday life. Every production is unique, requiring an individual, sensitive approach to its preparation and realization.
