A photographic approach

Sich annähern, den Standpunkt finden, verschieben und verlieren. Spuren hinterlassen, Abrückte im Raum. Eine Momentaufnahme. Ein Unikat, fehlerhaft und träumerisch - der Zeit entrückt. Dem Hauptlicht folgend, detailliert und inszeniert, festgehalten mit fünfzig Millionen Pixeln. Glatt und glänzend, kantig und schroff. Vergrößerbar bis zur Unkenntlichkeit, zur Auflösung, zum Ideal.

Approaching, finding a standpoint, shifting it and losing it. Leaving traces, imprints in space. A snapshot. A unique piece, flawed and dreamy - removed from time. Following the main light, detailed and staged, captured with fifty million pixels. Smooth and shiny, angular and rugged. Enlargable to the point of unrecognizability, to dissolution, to an ideal.

‚My work deals with fragments; fragments of memories, of the present and also fragments of the future. I mostly depict fragments of a whole, such as in this ceramic from the series ‘Zeitschaum’ (‘Foam of Time’).
